Harvard Business Review - The Critic

The critic | Harvard Business Review

Spot illustration for Betsy Robichaud at Harvard Business Review for an article about online business review sites like yelp and how to understand what might be a legitimate complaint and what is not. After reading the article I tried a few sketch ideas but felt most satisfied with my raccoon idea. The animal has a reputation of causing trouble in the darkness of night and that seemed to be a good metaphor for what online reviews tend to be. Luckily for me Betsy liked this idea too. Lately I've been fortunate enough to do an illustration almost every month for HBR and they're consistently a great client to work with and always a source of interesting topics to illustrate.

Strategy Magazine - CSR to the rescue

CSR to the rescue | Strategy Magazine

I recently had the pleasure of working with Stephen Stanley on another cover illustration for Strategy Magazine. This time around my job was to create a CSR superhero. CSR stands for corporate social responsibility. This was one of the most enjoyable assignments I've had, I had to draw a superhero, great!

Kickass Annie

Kickass Annie

Haven't posted to my blog much lately, I've been busy working a big project that I look forward to sharing later this year. In the meantime I wanted to post my version of Koyama Press' Kickass Annie logo. I did this a little while ago but never posted at the time. Annie publishes some really great books and I highly recommend picking some up.
