NEW WORK | Cuegle

Cuegle | Unpublished

Recently there was an open call to submit work for BEASTS! Book Two. I decided to give it a shot and worked on this in between assignments. I didn't get in but I thought I would show it anyway. The Cuegle is a monster that has black skin, three arms without hands or fingers, five rows of teeth, a horn, long beard and three eyes: one red, one blue and one green. It apparently likes to steal babies from their cradle and eat them.

NEW WORK | Positive Thinking

Are you good in a crisis? | Positive Thinking

1/2 page illustration for a quiz to determine if you're good in a crisis. At the time I started this job I had been drawing monsters in my sketchbook and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to include one in my commercial work. I also played around with the idea of doing something with zombies but that wasn't the right fit. Below are my two favourite sketches from this assignment.
